Pricing

We do not charge a percentage of the asset's value. We charge flat fees for computational and physical processing. Value-based pricing creates perverse incentives; mathematical truth costs the same regardless of market value.

Frequently Asked Questions regarding Pricing

Why is it a flat fee instead of a percentage?

Traditional authenticators charge based on the declared value of the item, which creates a massive conflict of interest. They are financially incentivized to authenticate high-value items, even if questionable. Our computational cost to scan a $100 baseball is identical to scanning a $1,000,000 document. We charge for the compute, not the market value.

Who pays the Ethereum gas fees?

For Individual and Estate tiers, the gas fees associated with anchoring the hash to the mainnet are included in the flat rate. For Auction House API integrations, gas fees are billed separately or optimized through Layer-2 rollups depending on the contract.

What if the item fails the initial scan due to damage?

If our spectral topography cannot establish a baseline (e.g., the signature is over 95% faded or physically destroyed), we refund 80% of the fee. The 20% covers the technician's time and basic hardware usage.
